Historic Collection

The museum possesses an important archaeological collection of found objects from the region of Aalst (Dender Valley, being the former country from Aalst).

The middle ages are well represented : pottery, floor and fireplace tiles, glass and metal.

In terms of painting and graphic art the museum has some 750 pieces (not all be stored on site).
