The church of Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur de Liège, a former Benedictine abbey of Saint-Jacques in Liège, was founded in 1015 by Prince-Bishop Balderic II.
Due to the destruction of the collegiate church of Saint-Pierre, she became the collegiate church of Saint-Jacques. After the concordat of 1801 the church of Saint-Jacques became a parish church, the cloister is a main park and the demolished abbey buildings were replaced by modern buildings.
