Opened in 1921 in the former church of Saint-Laurent (15-16c.), the Musée le Secq des Tournelles in Rouen, devoted to wrought iron objects, was built up in the 19th century by Henri Le Secq des Tournelles painter and photography pioneer.
The collection comprises all kinds of artistic or unusual objects made of or containing iron. It terms of history, it dates from the Gallo-Roman period to the 20th century.
