Over thousand items are exhibited, from various sources, from the Far East to the archaeological sites in southern Etruria, and distributed over a very wide span, ranging Late Hellenistic era to the twentieth century. Notable items are the piano built by Bartolomeo Cristofori in 1723 and the famous Barberini Harp.
